Darren does it too

I am on a bit of a run on the podcast this week as I have been trying to keep up a consistent jogging machine routine. They go well together, and I get plenty of ideas for stories while listening to some of these podcasts. Yesterday morning, I listened to the Humans of Agriculture podcast featuring Darren Thomas from Thomas Foods International (TFI). It's a ripper podcast, and the thing that pricked my ears the most was that Darren does a daily blog, too. He does it internally to all his staff and started it during Covid, and after a couple of years into it, he stopped, and everyone kicked up a stink, so he kept doing it. I would love to see what he writes about. You know how we talk about how anything in Agriculture is achieved in increments and over time, sometimes decades. Well, the TFI business, which he said turns over $3 billion-plus, is one of the very rare businesses that's Agricultural defying where they have scales really quickly, or should I say quicker than any. Yes, you could classify it in the processing industry, but I will still label it an Ag business. Stay tuned. I will have a few more stories about Darren and TFI. Rebuilding the balance Sheep workshops

We put this up yesterday and got a good response, and we just want to see if there is any more interest out there. I had a Farmer contact me Sunday night wanting to know if people would be interested in a workshop on rebuilding your Farm balance sheet. These free workshops would be held in Victoria and SA and would centre around rebuilding your financial position after a tough 2024.
