Moleskins continued

We had a huge response to our Moleskin story, which subscribers can read about in the replies section below. RM Willaims and Thomas Cook still do versions of Moleskins, but this mob Lizard does more of the traditional type, apparently. Airds at Lochinvar was also mentioned.  Reply to [email protected]

Worst Farm jobs

They are carting plenty of water for stock in WA right now, and I saw where someone said it was the worst Farm job ever. I've done a little bit of it over the years and tend to agree. It's one of those dead-end jobs. It got me thinking that there are plenty of other no-so-enjoyable jobs that we have to do on the Farm. Some might include taking debry off a flooded fenceline, Crutching flyblown Sheep, Cutting Ram Horns, Chipping Burr in the hot summer sun, or changing the points on the Combine on a cold winter's morning. With our old Woolshed on the Farm, because it was close to the ground, we had to lift the battens to get access to it with a shovel and then wheelbarrow it out. It was a time-consuming job. I am sure there were some jobs you hated; what were they?  Reply to [email protected]
