On location

Online Auctions during COVID-19 were lifesavers for many businesses. The stud guys in particular, as they were allowed to conduct the Bull or Ram sales online, so people didn't have to travel. It was an excellent service usually done by AuctionsPlus. But for some reason, studs are starting to ditch this service from their on-Property Auctions. Some think the cost is a bit steep and are looking to save some costs in what is a much tighter year for selling studstock. One stud breeder said he would rather have his buyers at the sale because they get better results when they can pick out Rams when they are on location. He also said that anyone who buys at his sale doesn't need to bring a crate or trailer because they deliver to anywhere in Australia. So, how do you still bid if you can't be there? Simple. Stud breeders just need to have a few phone numbers to call and people available for anyone who wants to bid on any lots if people can't make it. There are ways and means around it. When buying Rams and Bulls, do you like being at the Auction? Reply to [email protected]
