Farming moments in time

What have been the most memorable moments for Ag, both good and bad? Could it be the 1950s Wool boom, the 1982 drought, the Wool price reserve scheme abolishment, or was it when the Single Desk for Wheat was taken away, or when Water prices went through the roof or when Canola Price went to $1000 a tonne? There are so many more, too many to name, but you will have some. Or it could be more of a personal Farming thing, the time you took over a Farm or block of Land, the day you sold a record-priced Bull or Ram, or the unfortunate day you had to shoot some of your Sheep. Farming is full of ups and downs, and many of the defining memories you carry with you for the rest of your life. What are some of the key moments in your Farming life that you most remember? Reply to [email protected]
