Did I miss something here?
I scratched my head when I saw a Chris Bowen led article about how we could use our Cars to charge our houses. Reverse changing, they are calling it. See the article at the top of the Agribusiness for context. The article came out early last week, and I have deliberately held off writing about it as I wanted to give some thought to it to see if there was something here that I had missed. Don't we use household power to charge our Cars? Most people who have EVs charge them at home, overnight or when they are not using them. Why would we then want to turn around and put that charge back for the house when we would just have to charge the car again? We talk about the money-go-round in Ag, and that is legitimate, but this is the energy-go-round that doesn't make any sense. Like when there is a deposit into your bank account, and you withdraw the same amount, the balance for that transaction is zero. Isn't that what's happening here? Sometimes, I have trouble understanding things unless I have a bit of a flow chart written out on a bit of paper. Can someone please point out that this is just pure rhetoric that is meant to confuse us, or is it just me? Reply to [email protected]
