Delivering in the moment

They talk about the very best sports people delivering in the moment, with the moment being the most important point in the game. It could be when critical runs need to be made, a vital wicket, a goal or a try to win the game or an ace to win a crucial set. And what about delivering in the gold medal race at the Olympics? And the best keep delivering the moments. It got me thinking what are the moments in Farming? I guess Farming is different, and let’s say it’s not just one crucial moment but lots of little moments that lead to the win. It could be growing a Crop; the ones that get the best results are the ones that are vigilant even before the Crop goes in. They leave no stone unturned and can sorta envisage the outcome. Luck plays a part, too. Probably a better example would be with Ram or Bull breeders, the ones that have the ability to get their clients to pay more for their Rams or Bulls at sale time. That’s why you see some have sale averages well above their peers. The money seems to follow these people. It’s a unique ability, and we could call that delivering in the moment. It could be someone providing great service in Ag, they are delivering in the moment when we know many don’t. What’s another example of delivering in the moment do you have?
