The Farmers Club

No 206 - Wednesday's Club Notes

The “Club Notes” for Wednesday, the 15th of May, 2024.

The lost connection

Back in the 1950s all people that lived in the city had a connection to the Farmers. It was usually a relationship through family or sometimes a friend. Rural Australia was thriving, and the country was riding on the Sheep's back. Those city people who had a connection with the Farm used to spend time there. They had an understanding of how a Farm worked and took part in all the things Farming had to offer. It's spoken about a lot. Fast forward to 2024, and we are looking at a completely different scenario. That connection is now lost, never to return, and now Farming is very misunderstood by city folk. So now we have a scenario whereby city people have this delusional idealism of what's wrong and right. In their mind, Farming is evil, despite not ever being anywhere near a Farm. The trend continues, as they have deep opinions on Aborigines, despite never being in one of their camps. Governments of today side with where the votes are, and you guessed it; they are in the city. And it's a votes business. Hence, the reason why the Government sides with the city folk and their delusional idealisms. At The Farmers Club, we will always bat for Farmers, we will help fight the fight, and that's exactly what we are going to have to do. Let's make something happen. Reply to [email protected]

Well worth a listen.

Take a listen here from the 7-minute mark. Will Evans from the NT Cattleman’s Association makes alot of sense with some well-chosen words.

30-day free trial to continue - Here’s why

I just want to check with my newsletter host that I I change it to say a 14-day trial, it won’t affect all the current 30-day trials that are underway. It usually takes 48 hours for them to get back to me on something like this. Will revert.
