Bring back the Moleskins?

Remember the Moleskin pants. They were the attire of choice for those in the Grazing games many moons ago. Wearing Moleskins was a sign that you had made it within the Grazing ranks or as a Grazier. But then, for some reason, they disappeared. Not sure why. Did they get a bit wankerish? There was a time not long ago when we didn't want to look like a Farmer in public. Now, the whole Rural community does, but the Moleskins haven't made a comeback yet. But are they seen as stuck-in-the-last-century attire that is never going to see the light of day again, or will they defy the odds and make an auspicious comeback? Personally, I think they are very dressy, have a classic look and wear well. I see RM Williams and Thomas Cook still sell them, but they are not the meaty ones of years gone by with the big clip-open pockets. In fashion, what goes around comes around again, and I'm sure hoping that's the case for the humble Moleskins. Did you ever wear Moleskins and do you think they will make a comeback? Reply to [email protected]
