Drug of dependence

We call Urea Farmer's cocaine. The reliance on it in a Cropping program is insatiable. I am writing this from the Eyre Peninsula Field Days, and I have discovered a new drug of dependence. It's called Shiny New Machinery. As I mentioned yesterday, the New Holland CR11 was $1.6 million plus Front, which is $400k+, which puts it at $2 million. I will put the image of it up again today below. I saw Claas Xerion 12.650 Tractor, which someone said is $1 million plus, and it's by no means the dearest Tractor on the market. See the photo below. But the best thing about coming to a Field Day like this is you can look and not buy. We also know that many Farmers are setting new rules for themselves and refusing to buy new, giving up the drugs, so to speak. But getting back to the new stuff, how big can it go? It's a common talking point at every Field Day. But each time, it keeps getting bigger and more expensive. It's a great way to bring attention to your site by having your biggest and most expensive items front and centre, especially if it's a much-anticipated new release. What do you reckon about paying $2 million for a Header and $1 million for a Tractor? Reply to [email protected]
