Even the mice don't smell a rat

We are faced with problems every day, and sometimes, the solutions to those problems are so simple that we never seem to see them. There is a 3 part article below towards the bottom of the "Cropping and Grain" section below that you need to read. I'll try and explain it as best I can. So this is an experiment to try and stop mice eating the Wheat Seeds in the ground. So what they did was spray the paddock with Wheat germ oil and then sowed the Wheat. So what it does is the mice get the scent of the Wheat (food), but they can't locate the Grain to eat as such. If it was just the Grain in the ground they get the scent and go straight to it. And it's working. How ingenious is that? As they said, even the mice don't smell a rat. It's the ultimate form of trickery. So when we all come across a problem, we have to try and pare the layers back as something so simple might be the best answer. Have you solved a problem through trickery?  Reply to [email protected]
