Events with benefits

There was another one of those dry start workshops on Wednesday; this time, it was at Edenhope in Western Vic. WA, Vic, and SA have all been putting on these events, and they have been a roaring success. They will keep happening becuase some areas are far from out of the woods. One person who went on Wednesday said they are a great community mental health day. He said: “It was well put together, informative, with a high-quality lineup of speakers who knew their stuff”. We wrote about it the other day that no matter how good the Farmers are and how resilient they are, at times, they lose their confidence and question whether they are any good at all. If anything, these events remind us all that we can’t control the uncontrollable that get us into these situations. Let’s hope these events continue and people get the neccesary information they need. They also relieve a bit of pressure. They are certainly events with benefits. Do you agree that they help with community mental health?  Reply to [email protected]
