Even the greenies have lost interest

I was talking to a Farmer that runs that’s runs Sheep on a few properties, and like most people, he has a Kangaroo problem. He has a permit to pop off a few and does so occasionally, much to the disgust of the greenies that live next door. They get a bit gnarly when he shoots a few, but recently, he has noticed they have lost interest as some of the Roos have taken up residence in their garden. It must be exhausting being a greenie. It just goes to show that people can have all these ideologies, but until it affects them directly, then it’s a different story. I know an accommodation operator on the Murray River that has some upmarket cabins and gets alot of cashed-up Tesla drivers out of the city come up and in the summer, they all have their Air cons going flat out and the last thing on their mind when they a sweltering in the Northern Victorian sun is saving the world. He says it’s pretty entertaining. Another story is where our daughter works. They were made to work Australia Day as their little protest to the nation that gives them so much, but you know what? They took the next day off as a holiday? Go figure. We all know stories like this and how people are generally hypocrites. They say something but get caught out doing the opposite. Do you have a story of a do-gooder doing no good?  Reply to [email protected]
