Ag to change in 2026

You may think I have my years mixed up, but I believe the acceleration in the Ags development will start in 2026. Why 2026, and why not 2025? I think 2025 will be a normal year, and some will be looking to get back on their feet as far as consolidation is concerned. But what will change in 2026? I have been banging on about this for a long time, but the phone towers in the sky that will power phone coverage right across rural Australia will get going fully then. Just the fact that everyone will have phone coverage will be a changer of the game. From 2026 on, we will start to arrest some problems we have with costs, margins and efficiencies. Things like see and spray will become commonplace, Automation through Machinery changes will be fast-tracked, and Livestock industry efficiencies will come to the fore. It will give us new tools to help us solve some of the problems that have bugged us for years. I’m convinced it will be a point in time where we look back on and say Ag changed then. Change, however, won’t be an overnight thing, and it won’t be change for change’s sake; it will need to be strategic and calculated. The Next Draw - We have changed the date of the next draw to the 10th of January 2025. The next draw will work like this. It will have two parts.
