It’s not even woke….
The Australia Day Lamb ads have been a staple for a decade or two and have done wonders the the humble Lamb Chop. But just lately, over the last few years, they have gone a bit off, got a bit too political, and the last couple have been described by many as woke. We have written just recently about how Lamb has struggled to gain more places on the restaurant menu where its sister product, Beef, has gained so much momentum and, in some cases, has 5 or 6 choices in comparison. So, any promotion of Lamb is a bonus, and you might have noticed a new Lamb ad that has been released in the last day or so. Go down the the Sheep and Wool section below to watch. This one is a 30 second one and is quite clever and seems to be targeting the younger technological types amongst us. I enjoyed it, and the reference to “one megabyte” is very clever. And you know the best thing, it’s not even woke. Well done. What’s your opinion of the latest release Lamb ad? Reply to [email protected]
