Supporters you don’t want

You know, when you somehow attract people you don't want in your mix, but it just seems to happen. That's what's happening to the Greens right now, and it might explain why they didn't win a seat in the Queensland election. It used to be the tree huggers who would occasionally get in front of a Bulldozer or a truck. Sorta harmless buggers with a cause. Now, their followers are extreme conspiracy theorists with pink, purple, and, dare I say it, green hair. The kind of people you don't want on your side if you're trying to win seats in elections. If they turned up at your party, you would usher them straight out because you know they are going to cause trouble. There's a bit of a feeling that we are getting back to a bit more common sense, and people are sick of all this extremist stuff. If they keep attracting these types of supporters, it might just see them fall off the face of the earth. One can only hope…. Getting back to the Queensland election, I don't know what this new Premier is like, but how refreshing is it to know he is off a Farm and, yes, he can even drive a Tractor?
