History will judge…..

Elon Musk, like him or loathe him, will go down in history as the greatest non-farming entrepreneur ever. That's just my opinion. Better than Henry Ford, Steve Jobs and any others in their category. What prompted me on this one was a podcast episode of Founders (which is probably my favourite podcast) that told the story of Musk and his journey with SpaceX. A company he started from scratch when the space industry was going backwards, and many were getting out because it was getting ever expensive to have a one-use rocket system. Musk changed that, and now they are able to use their spaceships multiple times. They even caught one out of the sky the other day. These days, the space industry is big business, and you and I are reliant on it every day. Whether that's through our rain radar or something else, our connection with something from space is infiltrated into our everyday lives. But the biggest thing that SpaceX has done for us is to provide the Starlink system (they own it). Now we can connect to fast internet, and I know that running a business from a rural area with what was once poor internet service has been a game changer. The latest SpaceX creation is deploying phone towers in the sky. Sometime in 2025, we will be able to connect our phones to these satellites and use them from anywhere. SpaceX is only one of Musk's creations; there are many more, and I'd say there’s more to come. Could you name someone who has a better non-Farming entrepreneurial CV?  Reply to [email protected]
