Don't take the incentive away

There is a 15-minute video from a bloke I know, David "Mick" Byrne, a Farmer from Banyena in the Wimmera area of Victoria. Byrnsey is not a video poster, but what drove him to do it was sheer frustration and something that occupies his mind for hours on end. This video was done driving the Header at 1:30 am in the morning with his young bloke asleep on the floor. You see, the Byrne family Farm is right in the firing line of a mineral sand mine that is proposing to dig up Farms to extract whatever mineral they deem as precious. This and other separate proposed mines in the area are sapping the energy away from Farmers who just want to be left alone to Farm their prime Agricultural Land. Some Farmers are copping it from not only mining but also from wind, solar and transmission lines. Dealing with these aforementioned issues is getting to these people, and we have to be careful that these Farmers don't lose the incentive to Farm. Byrnesey's video is a call out and other Farmers are feeling the same way. The support for his call-out was, to use his words, "overwhelming". Not only does this have the ability to disarm the incentive for people to Farm, it also has the propensity to take away what they should be doing and love doing, and that's Farming.
