Bring on 2027….

We exhibited our Farm Tender business at Beef Week in Rockhampton earlier in the year. It was, without doubt, the best Ag event I have been to, and for any Agricultural enthusiast, it's one of those bucket list things you need to do once. I have been to many an event but why did this one stand out? I think what makes it work, first and foremost, is the scarcity factor; it's held every 3rd year, so when people get there, they have usually been waiting and planning for it for up to 2 years in advance. That's a long time being excited. If it was every year or even every 2nd year, I don't think it would be half as popular. The organisation that goes into it must be exhausting. Another winner is that it combines education, networking, the Beef, seeing the Cattle and last but not least the socialising. Socialising would be number one. You need a week off after your week off to recover. The Cattle industry is a very social one, and when they all get together, it's on. The other things I noticed are that Cattle people are cruisy, they love to wear the Cattle branded clothing, there are a lot more non Cattle people attending, and the whole thing just works. Hat's off, and many are already planning for 2027; you better, too. Lastly, see the podcast I put up yesterday below. The link I put up yesterday was 52MG, which was way too big.
