Could Bovaer be the next AdBlue?

There has been a fair bit of media around the new methane suppressor Bovaer. Coles is promoting that they use it to sell meat, and Norco is promoting they don't use it to sell milk. They have supporters and detractors, but overall, we don't really have much knowledge as to whether it's good or bad. It's said that the feed additive can reduce methane in a Cow by 30-40 per cent. Could it be the next AdBlue, which supposable reduced harmful exhaust emission in diesel engines? It's one of those things that has been introduced that adds another cost from which someone is making a nice quid from. I am not 100 per cent sure if AdBlue has been mandated by the EPA, maybe just for larger Trucks. Anyway, I am not sure if Bovaer can reach the level of uptake that AdBlue seems to have (remember when it was running short a year or so ago). With Bovaer, for it to be used industry-wide, you would need to rejig the supply chain and have everyone on board. I don't think that will happen. It would be interesting to find out who is behind it and who is making money from an additive that adds an extra cost, like AdBlue. Anyway an interesting comparison. Are you a believer in Bovaer?
