The best podcast I have ever heard

I am an avid podcast listener. Every time I get a chance to go somewhere in the Ute, or if I manage to get a go on the treadmill, I am all over them. Mainly just Ag ones or ones about business. We have even recently started one, which you can listen to here. I was listening to the Future of Agriculture Podcast featuring Dr Kee Jim, who is a big Feedlot and Cattle Breeding player in the US, Canada and Mexico. Take a listen here. I'd go so far as to say it's the best podcast I have ever listened to. How do I judge a good podcast? It's by the number of takeaways I get and how much thinking I do about some of the topics that were brought up. One of them was around owning Land, which he says is something that's a good long-term thing to do, but for him and for cash flow reasons, he would prefer to own Cattle and go light on the hard assets. He even said that if he had a choice, he wouldn't own the Feedlots either, but he feels he has to so he can have more control over his business. He also mentioned that he didn't pay much attention to the risk side of Feedlotting, but when he was technically trading insolvent after a price crash in the Cattle industry, that got his attention, and he started to factor in risk for those outside moments that came along that you can't control. It's an amazing story of achievements and just backing his processes and business model. I could go on, but I would rather you take a listen.
