Future-proofing your business

I was raving yesterday morning about The Rural Sales Show Podcast that featured selling and sales guru Simon Bowen. Take a listen here. Simon is big on future-proofing your business, and he believes that in the current environment, many businesses are heading for disaster. Now, this could be your business or mine. He said we need to see the future more so we can guarantee survival. Obviously, he has a system or model he uses that people pay for, but I find the comment very interesting for this reason. I have always said it's too hard to try and pick what's going to happen in the future. But after listening to Simon, I am going to try much harder to see what's around the corner for my businesses, and I reckon you should too. Simon believes if we can get a visual of what is ahead, then we can solidify our business and give it certainty into the future. It's fascinating stuff.
