We love promoting Farming areas where rural people live, and this time, it's a place we as a family spent 10 years of our lives. Yarrawonga. It was a great spot to live, with plenty of good weather, good people and all the amenities you need. And it's a robust Farming area so it was a great place to start our Farm Tender business. We do return occasionally, and we continue to marvel at the growth of the place. You could liken it to an outer city suburb; such is the development. I was at one of the coffee shops at 5 am on Tuesday, and it was a procession of Tradies grabbing their morning brew. It's a destination where people want to live. We treated ourselves and stayed at The Sebel, which is a new resort-type complex on the Eastern side of town, smack bang on Lake Mulwala. I can recommend it for a stay, it's very nice, and the grass, I just love the grass. Acres of Santa Anna Couch lawns (see pictures below in the "Places" section). It just brings a level of calmness to your world. The Farmers around here did something very smart; the majority of them expanded over the border into NSW and bought cheap Land, and they have all done very well out of it and set themselves up.
