The milk thing

For the record I tried the full cream milk in my coffee and got the same sitting in the gut feeling. I will stay full cream and fat everything else, but it’s back to the wanky soy for me.

Succession solution

Last year, I went to the Cotton Conference on the Gold Coast, and the one defining thought I went away with was that they were arguably the most progressive and positive group of Farmers I have come across. I see they had a small conference for around 35 young Growers recently around the subject of intergenerational transition, which we commonly know as succession. It got me thinking that this is it; this is the key to educating young people about the topic and turning them into people who not only participate but lead the process. A group event with experienced facilitators and advisors with a few case studies through it would be so beneficial it’s not funny. They could educate them about the process, learn how they need to act, and appreciate what their parent do and what they want for the future. They could learn about being fair and the process of giving and taking and thinking about others as well as their needs. The learnings around how important communication is would be worth it alone.
