• Some great Saturday morning reading in today's full edition. Have a great weekend.

• Do you leave the Farm? I went to the Goroke Farm Forum yesterday, and it was a great event; the joint was packed. It was Farmers enjoying a day off the Farm. We wrote about it.

• The old Windmills are good Windmills, and then there's the new Windmills, the bad ones. We write about it today.

• Costs are a problem - Perhaps it's time to open up a few different bank accounts and squirrel a bit of money aside each time you get paid for something. I reckon it helps with managing cash flow. Easier said than done, but.

• Have you changed the way you do things over the years? I was looking back at what and how I used to write, and everything has changed. The ideas, the writing style, the positioning, the readership, the confidence, the topics, my voice, all of it.

• Interesting Farmer reply No 1 - A Farmer had an interesting reply to our Working Dog story in that he has designed his system around not using Dogs at all. He said it works.

• Interesting Farmer reply No 2 - An Aussie Lamb Farmer who has invested in a Lamb breeding and fattening overseas was saying margins for Aussie Lambs when sold at retail in Dubai were $AUD428 (70%) and New York $AUD660 (220%) on the Farm Gate prices here. He also had a couple of other bombshells.

• I am not sure if you watch those morning TV shows. I got exposed to it yesterday morning…. How to get your day off to a bad start…. Absolute junk.
