“I’m willing to eat nails” - This is what new Domain (No 2 Real Estate website/App) CEO Andy Florance said in a Fin Review interview. It pushed us to write about the job interview process and what to look for. I would employ Andy too…
Do you have your succession sorted? We think succession is probably the biggest issue in Ag, and we cover it a lot in our articles. Today, one of our Farmer subscribers sent his real-life succession plan in so we could pick it apart and take pieces away and use it in our own situation. Subscribe, and I will send it to you.
Are you into the business of Farming? The business side of things in Farming is becoming more important. If you haven’t listened to Jeff McDonald’s podcast, you need to. It’s well worth the entry fee.
What’s more important than price? Value. Value is always more important than price. But you have to be the judge of that. That’s why we give you the first 30 days free, and you can opt out anytime.
We do a pretty intensive rundown on the Bull and Rams sales, and it’s so interesting to watch the trends. In summary, so far. The Ram sales are struggling from a clearance perspective in SA, which is understandable. The Bull sales are going along very well. Commercial Breeders are underpinning the market and investing in the genetic traits they desire.
Good to see some rain around in SA, Vic and Tassie yesterday and more today. It will be interesting to hear the accumulated weekly totals. The Crops are starting to take off.
The lighter end of the new season Lamb market was red hot yesterday at Wagga Wagga.
Have a great Friday.
