I don’t mind a pub, they are great places, and often the fabric of our communities. So I had to laugh when a Farmer said to me yesterday that: “They should burn all the pubs down”…. Hmmm. I thought to myself. Why? And asked that very question. He said, “So they can build bigger ones”. Haha.
What sort of information and ideas do you need to help future-proof your Ag business? We talk about the average line a lot, and it’s our aim to provide the info and ideas that can help you stay above it. I was talking to a Farmer the other day, and we agreed that it’s got to a point where we nearly have to be inventing new stuff.
What about the weather? Thinking positive is a great virtue. If you go back and listen to the John Carter podcast we did, you will get doses in spades. It’s a great lesson. There are things that annoy Farmers that we understandable can’t get that positive about, and one of those is the weather forecast. Many get disappointed. How do we change our attitude to the weather forecasts so we don’t get disappointed? It requires a change of thinking. We write about it today.
Because of the weather article, we have dedicated all of our 25 funnies to taking the piss out of the weather and weather forecasting. Sibscribe and I will send it to you.
How much pressure are you under? As Farmers, you probably wouldn’t realise until you stopped. That’s exactly what happened to one of our subscriber Farmers who loved Farming but didn’t realise the pressure he was under daily until he stopped Farming and retired. So don’t go too hard on yourself. We write about it today.
What’s your passion? What gets you out of bed every morning excited? We all have things we are passionate about, and they are wide and varied. One of our subscriber Farmers loved building stuff in the workshop. His biggest project was building his own Self-Propelled Sprayer. It took him 5 years to get it working properly. It’s a fascinating story. Some people are very clever.
Have a great Wednesday.
