• I read this the other day. "When a company stops exploring, it stops growing". That's why we have to keep finding information that stimulates our brains and keeps us informed so we can make better decisions.

• Who said the Saleyards were dead? Quite the opposite, according to the latest yearly data. Both Cattle and Sheep throughput have gone up by 16 per cent. There are some interesting numbers there, and you can compare each Saleyard. Subscribe, and I will send you all the info.

• Call me biased, but the way we consume our media is changing. Podcasts are replacing radio, newsletters are replacing newspapers and streaming is replacing free-to-air TV. The Ag space is no different. We evaluate what is happening out there in an article today. We also look at what the yanks are doing.

• What's pissing you off in the Ag space? Are Ag businesses not answering or returning calls? Are deadlines not being met? Is the art of not taking responsibility making its way into Ag? We need to earmark the people and businesses that do answer the phone, that do meet deadlines and do give a shit. The ones that turn up are the ones who should get all the business. We write about this turning-up thing constantly, and we're calling out companies that do. If you know any that do good things, let me know, and we will give them a plug.
