• Are you a bit concerned with the price of Machinery? I listened to a good podcast during the week, and they said the Chinese Machinery is coming. They said it would rival the current stuff we know. Would you consider a warrantied Chinese Tractor at half the cost per hp? We wrote a story about it today.

• What’s your lunchtime routine? When I was on the Farm, I used to love lunchtime, but it was not about eating. It was the first chance I got to read the papers. It’s where my love of aggregating info came from.

• Are you a browser? I think in this current world of social media and smartphones, we have become adept at browsing, or some might call it scrolling. Whatever the case, the need to keep informed has to be done quickly. We have 110 bite-sized snippets of valuable info in today’s full newsletter, which I reckon you could get through in about 10 to 15 minutes. Start your day informed....

• When you thought it couldn’t get any better, the Sheep and Lamb market goes and does just that. It was a big week of rises. We have a multitude of graphs and numbers to keep you up to date on all the markets. Subscribe, and I will send them to you.

• We will have a new podcast out on Monday, as we capture the public life of Ag media broadcaster Libby Price, who is still going strong.

• Farming is one big trial, isn’t it? Farmers are always comparing stuff, sizing things up side by side, so they can measure the difference. In our quest to get better and stay above the average line (and preferably on the green line), we will always be trialling and testing stuff.
