What’s in today’s paid edition? - See below
Not on social media, but want to keep up with things? We are all over social media and introduce you to some of the most influential people in Ag. Twitter or "X" has a really good Farmer community, and so does LinkedIn. We take the best from the best and bring it to you in a quick reading format. Don't miss a thing. Start your day informed.
Betting on Hay? Then back this runner - Many of you are making decisions whether to cut Hay or strip your Crops. One thing worth taking into consideration is the current and future situation in the Livestock game. Hay will be needed. We wrote about it today.
Haven't got time to attend conferences? We treat every podcast like a mini conference. We base it on trying to get as many takeaways from our guests as possible. And as I said yesterday, we deliberately make them timeless, so if you listen to them in 5 years' time, they are still relevant. Subscribe, and I will send them to you.
The botched comeback. This Ag industry entrepreneur went to the highest of highs and built his business up so much that he sold it for just under $200 million. And when you have done something like that, you naturally think you can do it all over again. But it doesn't work like that, and this is a story of a botched comeback. We wrote about it today.
My hat goes off to the community of Deniliquin, or Deni as we know it. As you read this, they are in the middle of their famous Ute Muster. They stumbled across something people are passionate about: Utes. And the rest they say is history. This event was sold out a fortnight ago with 25,000 people in attendance. What a story, and we wrote about it today.
Some stats in today's paid edition. We have 20 funnies, there are 10 Ram sale results, 94 snippets of all the latest info, 3 stories and our podcasts.
Have a great Saturday and start your weekend informed.
