• Hay - It looks like there might be a bit of Hay around this year. This is what Shane Ruyg, account manager at Farm Tender, sent me - Hearing that a lot of Cereal Crops around the Rainbow area have been dropped, with reports of one operator alone doing around 6,000 acres. This suggests we’re likely to see a lot more Hay out there than originally expected. Some are even saying prices could drop to around $200/t if the market becomes flooded. If the dry weather continues, we’ll probably see even more Hay coming up for sale. We have this and other reports in today’s full edition.

• We will have a Hay Report out later today.
