• Gerard Roney spoke to us on our new "End of Message" podcast yesterday about his Farming operation and the season. He is also running 3 × 1-day Lamb Feedlotting Masterclasses in November. These are great events and I am booked in to go on the Wednesday. See the flyer at the bottom of the page.

• It was a tragedy about the loss of the Lacelles Minapre Pub to fire in the early hours of Thursday morning. These local assets can't really be replaced. When I heard about the fire, I immediately thought of one person and one other pub fire. We wrote about it today. Subscribe, and I will send it to you.

• A BOM shell. That was the headline we used in a story about the BOM changing their website, much to the disgust of many. The feedback hasn't been great.

• In this uncertain Farming and Agriculture world, it's great to see a little ahead, or what's coming around the corner. You need to future-proof what you do. • Steak Nuggets - They sound pretty good to me. That's what fast food chain Arby's have just released across the US. We write today about how these little changes can make big impacts on Agricultural industries like Beef.
