• It’s not a newsletter, it’s an entrance to a new way of thinking. To Farmify it, it’s Non-commodity thinking.

• I read yesterday that an institutional investor bought an egg business for $350 million in 2023 and is now selling it for $1 billion. They used the term “protein asset”. I found that term interesting, and perhaps as Sheep and Cattle Farmers, we can use that term to our advantage. We wrote about it today.

• Sift, take, dispose. That’s how we need to process information. It’s like drafting the culls off and keeping the better ones. As a mate often says, we need to be constantly keeping ourselves “knowledged up”.

• We have the Tom Burvill (South Australian Cattle Company) podcast preview up. Take a listen here. A very interesting interview and conversation.

• In this fast-paced world we live in, sometimes it pays to do things slowly. We wrote about an example today.
