• We operate our newsletter in short form, which works well with early-starting, time-poor Farmers. You can get through a lot of info, process it quickly, and then go deeper on something that has pricked your ears. Remember, it's not about the content; it's what the content can do for you.

• I found out that a Farmer I have been speaking to a couple of times a week over the years has a photographic memory. That puts the final piece of the puzzle in place. Now I know why he can do what he does. It's a good story, and we wrote about it today.

• Our Farmers subscribers love sending in their replies; we publish a bevy of them each day. Someone sent in a great story about Farm succession done right. It's a good read, with heaps of takeaways. Subscribe, and I will send it to you.

• Society is headed down the path toward socialism. But why? I didn't really understand the reasons until someone who studies demographics explained why. It's an interesting read on what the future might look like and on some of the things we can do in Ag to prevent us from heading down this path. It's futuristic stuff that we all need to know. We wrote about it today.

• We have great access to Ag Marketing guru Dan Schultz. He puts out plenty of thought-provoking stuff that we relay.
