“Until you don't get your daily fix, you don't realise how much you miss it!" I highlighted this because, for some technical reason, this subscriber stopped receiving the daily email for 3 days. We are very lucky to have a loyal, welded-on subscriber list. Join up today and see what he is talking about.
I heard in a podcast yesterday where someone said this: "You want to be known well, not well known". This saying suits the Ag industry because it's all about relationships. We wrote about it today.
We have started a new podcast called "End of message", where we do short-form podcasts that usually only run between 5 to 8 minutes, and they are focused on a specific topic. Today, we have our weekly Hay report with Farm Tenders Shane Ruyg, where we focused on the current and future state of the Straw industry
We love writing about business models, and one model I have admired over the years is Xero's (Accounting software) subscription model. It's taken them a decade or more to reach profitability, as they have been in subscriber-acquisition mode. And they have one standout advantage in that they have very sticky clients. Why? Because you have so much important information in there, you are unlikely to go elsewhere. We write bout it today.
We keep on making the important point that it's not about what we do, it's about what we can do for you.
Businesses that create a bit of mystery often go well. Today we wrote again about the Lambpro (Tom Bull) Ram Sale business model and how it's strictly invite-only. Out of all the Ram and Bull sales that go on, it's the only one that operates like this, yet it's clearly and by a long way the most successful each year. And it's all a bit of a mystery to those of us on the outside. How do we create some mystery in our business? We write about it today.
Have a great Saturday, and subscribe to stay fully informed daily
