  • Are we in a worldwide Machinery reset phase? It's been interesting tapping into a few people who have just returned from one of the world's biggest Machinery and Equipment shows, Agritechnica, in Germany. They say we are heading into a new era in the Machinery world, with new blood eager to compete with the big boys. We did a bit of crystal ball gazing in an article today.

  • At The Farmers Club, there is a message in a lot of the content we present; we intentionally do that. Some of the messages will resonate with you, and some won't. With over 18 written stories, between 500 and 600 snippets, around 120 funnies, and 40-odd Farmer replies a week, there is bound to be things there that are specifically for you. We know in your world, it's not about what we do or about the content we present; it's about what our content can do for you. But you have to be the judge of that, and that's why we have the first 30 days free. Treat it as an opportunity for you or your business.

  • "I love getting up in the morning and reading a few short stories/messages generally Ag related, and having a few chuckles too. Thanks, Dwain". Andrew, Tailem Bend, SA.

  • Paula (my wife) and I attended the "Access Denied" protest against transmission lines at my brother Ben's Farm yesterday. They had 210 turn up to a paddock out near Willaring, in the Wimmera area of Victoria. It was a massive show of strength, and we wrote about it today.

  • There is a LinkedIn post going around by William Strage, who is an Aussie businessman. I have never seen a better articulated piece on how we are tracking in Australia than what William wrote yesterday. Australia is in a money spending pickle. We analysed it in an article and reprinted what William said in about snippets. It's must read.

  • We wrote a story around how country pubs have changed over the decades, and the reasons why. An old fella from Minyip (Vic) told me yesterday at the protest why the 2 pubs in Minyip have closed, and it's something I never thought of. We wrote about it today.

  • Have a great Wednesday, and subscribe to keep yourself fully informed each day.
