If you are one of those who roam the streets of Agriculture but don't have access to Farmers and how they operate on a day-to-day basis, then we might be able to get you a little bit closer to the Farming action. If your job or business needs to know what's going on at Farmer level, then our paid newsletter might just be your ticket. Take a 30-day free trial to see if it does it for you.
We interviewed a Hay contractor in one of our podcasts, and he said to us that he was determined that every Tractor and Baler he used had to pay for itself that year. Once he set the rule, he then had to go find more Contracting work, and he did. Should we be looking to have each Machine we own pay for itself? We used a formula and wrote about it yesterday.
We are in the information era, and we think 2026 will be the year where you refine what information is going to serve you best and go deep with it. I know I subscribe to about 8 Ag-related newsletters, and the reason I subscribe is that there are so many takeaways and I get a little bit excited with anticipation when they arrive in my inbox.
The old-style Hardware story has been replaced with crappy old Bunnings and the like. The old-style Milk Bar has been replaced by the convenience store. I grew up in the Milk Bar era, when they were mum and dad businesses. We reminisced and wrote a story about it today.
Warrnambool is a town I view as one that is "well-kept". It always seems to be neat and tidy, and the natives take pride in its appearance. We wrote a story about "well-kept" Farms and what they look like.
Have a great Saturday, and subscribe to refine your information in 2026.
Don’t forget our subscription gift voucher as a Christmas present.
