• We assume stuff all the time, and most don’t come to fruition. One succession facilitator we did a podcast with says assumptions can kill a smooth succession outcome before it starts. So she has a technique that extracts all assumptions out of each individual right at the start of the succession process. It works so well. We wrote a story about it today, and the podcast we did with Kate Burke is well worth a listen.

• I have said it a few times lately that we are in the information era, and that 2026 will be about refining that information. We went into details in a story today and gave a great example of someone who has done the refine thing. It has worked super for him.

• Everyone in Ag who’s not directly involved in Farming wants to tell you they grew up on a Farm or have a cousin with a Farm that they spent all their school holidays and spare weekends visiting. I get it, it’s a chasing credibility thing. But I have seen something else creep in that gives a bit to the slap to the generational Farmer. We wrote about it in today’s full edition.

• To be at the top of your Farming game, you have to be an A-class student of your sector. We give a great example of this in an article today.
