  • If you are ever going to take the leap, this is the time - We are putting our monthly subscription price up from $40 + GST to $45 + GST on February 1st. But if you subscriber before then, we promise to freeze the $40 + GST price for at least 2 years (24 months), maybe longer. So if you have been thinking about signing up one day, now is the time. After February 1, we will also be reducing this free version from 6 days to 2 days a week. Head to the bottom of the page and click upgrade, or if you are having any issues subscribing, ring, text or email (see below), and I can help you out.

  • The new Summer Lamb ad is here, and we delve into a bit of the history of the famous Lamb ads over the years. At one stage, they went a bit woke. We rate this one in a story we wrote today.

  • We have our β€œthinking chair” back after it was put away in storage for 12 months. One of our take-it-or-leave-it suggestions for 2026 is to find a good thinking spot. We wrote a story about that today.

  • Today, we investigate in a story whether Grain Bulk Handler CBH and its monopoly-type situation is actually good for WA Grain Farmers. Is it starving them of opportunities elsewhere? It’s an interesting investigation.

  • We put in a 2-part podcast on the 10 biggest things we learnt in 2025, and when you think about it further, learning is the cornerstone of our advancement as humans. This is why we end up with wisdom. This is why we need to listen to people in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. They are battle-hardened; they have experienced things firsthand, some many times over. We all need to take this learning thing seriously.

  • Have a great Tuesday, and subscribe to start your day fully informed
