We wrote a little bit about it yesterday, and it's worth repeating that the club we have here, The Farmers Club, is about giving a little bit of yourself (a small subscription) and getting a whole lot more back (a Daily newsletter, podcast, snippets, replies, etc.).
There's a young up-and-coming cricketer called Oliver Peake who is doing things at 19 that others never thought of. One commentator described him as a problem solver like Steve Smith. It's an interesting take. We relayed it back to Farming and noted that some Farmers have a knack for seeing things before they actually happen. This allows them to become great problem solvers like Peake and Smith. It's a complex subject that we unpack in a story we wrote today.
We stumbled across an article today that will make for some great weekend reading. It's about when John Deere changed. The time when they went from an Iron and horsepower company and turned into a software and data company. And not everyone likes the track they have taken. One man was behind this change. It's a ripper story you shouldn't miss.
A new subscriber sent us this in an email yesterday. "Dear Dwain, I was a subscriber to The Farmers Club before it became a paid product, and for a time continued with the free version. I genuinely enjoyed the articles, insights, and snippets you shared. What you've built is a real gem, and it fills a gap I've personally been searching for in Agricultural commentary. I realised I missed the content enough to resubscribe today".
Have a great Saturday, and remember to subscribe to start each day fully informed.
