  • Podcast preview - St John Craner - St John (pronounced Sinjin) is an interesting cat, and we got him on because we wanted to hear his story and what he does, but we also wanted to get into the minds of you guys (the Farmers) and better understand the decisions you make and why. You see St John has a business called Rural Sales Success that specifically trains salespeople how to serve their Farmer customers properly, not sell to them, but serve them. And as you will find out in the podcast, there is a difference. Listen to the podcast preview here on Apple and here on Spotify.

  • We're rewarding your loyalty - We are putting our monthly subscription price up from $40 + GST to $45 + GST on February 1st. But if you subscriber before then, we promise to freeze the $40 + GST price for life. Yep, that's right, you become a Foundation Member, and you will never be subject to any price rises, ever. So if you have been thinking about signing up one day, now is the time. After February 1st, we will also be reducing this free version from 6 days to 2 days a week. Head to the bottom of the page and click upgrade, or if you are having any issues subscribing, ring, text or email (see below), and I can help you out.

  • Australia Day edition - We will have an Australia Day edition out on Monday morning, but at this stage, there will be no edition on Tuesday morning. We want to celebrate Australia Day for what it's worth. We'd better get some Chops and more beer organised. Footnote: This free version will go to a twice-weekly edition after February 1st.

  • We wrote a story about how Farming fathers and sons have been known to have the odd argument. We had a couple of ripper replies from Farming sons who had worked out a solution to get cut through with their ideas and inputs with their old man. They improvised, and it worked. We wrote about it today.

  • As we mentioned yesterday, I heard this quote. "The more you pay, the more you pay attention". We wrote a story about this today, with a few examples.

  • We all have things we like doing, and things we can't live without. Then there are the good addictions we have. We wrote a story about this, and I outlined a few of mine.

  • Have a great Saturday, and subscribe to have yourself fully informed on a daily basis.
